Gopalan National School has been an ideal school environment for the students, where along with the academics focus, the overall development of the children is also given a priority. The sports culture at the school is commendable and actually a must in these times. The availability of the Gopalan Sports Center helps the children to pick the sport of their choice and enable them to learn and grow in that sport. The school also hosts and participates in multiple inter-school sports events allowing the students the opportunity to compete at all levels and further enhance their skills, along with the learnings which come with all competitions.
In line with their Sports culture, Gopalan National School's "AMEYA - Annual Sports meet 2023-24" was held with the best of arrangements right from the chief guests from sports fraternity who represented India at International level, to engaging all the students in some form or other whether it was performing arts, yoga, or displaying their athletic skills.
The event was very well organised, and the competition among all the teams was great to see. The "Display" events by all teams was really amazing, and shows how much efforts went in the preparation not just by the students, but also the teachers to bring out the best displays for the audience. Not to forget the school's Choir team also performed to welcome everyone to the Annual Sports day.
This year's Ameya Annual Sports Day has set the standard for all the upcoming Annual Sports Days really high.

My daughter is studying since last 2 years in GNS. We are happy with the school and teachers. They are doing really good in guiding the kids for the academic part but It would have been great if school pays attention to the extracurricular activities as well including sports, dance and music. Only the kids who are enrolling for after school sports are getting a chance to learn but the other students are not able to learn the sports which should not be the case. We haven't seen any improvement in my daughter's non academic skills. Also the sports day could be organised in a better way so that students don't have to stand in hot Sun without any reason.
My both the kids are in Gopalan National School. GNS is one of the good school as it includes equal participation both in scholastic and non-scholastic activities. School encourages kids to take part in multiple competitions which prepares them for bigger competitive world in future. Mrs. Linda Bird is a mature, passionate, driven, reliable, articulate and intentional vice principal at GNS. She is the kind of leader who sees needs and meets them whether she is asked to or not. She is also an excellent teacher and received a very positive evaluation for her teaching. Whenever parents approach her for any queries/doubts she always gave them positive way out. Thank you for guiding each student in positive way.
My daughter has been studying in this school for the past 7 years. The teachers are knowledgeable and approachable. They put in additional efforts to make the students understand the concepts well. I am impressed with the initiatives taken by the Principal in reviewing the academic performance of each and every child. There is a right balance of academics and extra curricular activities.

We have attended Gopalan National School's AMEYA The Annual Sports meet 2023-24. It was an amazing spectacle to watch young kids performing. The speeches were inspiring too. The School staff and students have put in great efforts to make this event successful. The event organization was better than the previous year. Parents and Kids may feel happier if kids receive some refreshments from school in these events during their stay in scorching sun. These kind of simple gestures may build great impression on the school for both kids and parents.
Gopalan Nation School is the best school in Whitefield. I like the curriculum of the school.

Many interesting competition will be held for the kids to participate.
I can see a lot of improvement in my kid speaking skills, mannerism, discipline.

I am really happy to have my child studying in GNS as they are giving equal importance to studies and extra curricular activities. By conducting several events, my child has overcome stage fear, which is very important at any age. Also, they conduct events like grandparents day, which teaches the students the importance of grandparents. The teachers are very good and take excellent care. Overall, a very good school for children and parents alike.
